The Backpack Buddies Committee continues to send the children of Trinity Place Community Center home with backpacks full of nutritious food every Friday. The staff of Trinity Place has shared very positive feedback with us from the children’s families. In these difficult economic times the extra food they receive through our program is truly making a difference in their lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all who have contributed to our monthly food drives. Because of your generosity we have been able to share even more with these needy families.

We recently learned of another need at Trinity Place Community Center. This after-school program was unable to use any of its board games due to missing pieces. On April 18th the committee donated several of the children’s favorite games to the program and had the opportunity to play them together. It was a fun way to get to know these wonderful kids. We look forward to another enrichment activity with them on May 2nd.
